Bellisima Romanticism, Simply draped in lace with a classic silhouette
Materials used: lace, satin, and beaded belt
PROCESS
When I was doing my fabric sourcing with a bridal concept in mind, I became absorbed by all the lace, trims, and bead options. Too much detail all at once can make the bride feel overwhelmed. In keeping the silhouette simple and classic to work as a “blank canvas”, I was envisioning these beautiful draped moments in the bodice to enhance the female form and beauty to flow into a frontal skirt and train that can wrapped and played with by the bride. There is also inner boning from a built in corset structure in the bodice to offer support. The lace and beaded belt is hand-sewn with an additional lace trim machine-stitched to finish the hems of the front and back lace skirts.
